The Party Has Started!!

We got some great news last Thursday that the permit had finally been granted and was ready for pick-up. Glenn wasted no time in getting things started. By Friday, the silt fence was up and a special deck was built to protect a tree (I'll explain later). This morning, a backhoe arrived and the guys wasted no time in clearing the lot and digging a really big hole. I'll post some pics soon.

First things first, I have yet to post what our house is going to look like so it is time for the big reveal. Below is a 3D rendering Paul did that has been superimposed on a photograph of the lot.

Now the fun begins! Expect more posts that are mostly pictures rather than my long winded stories. However, for all two of you who actually like, or tolerate, reading my long posts, I promise to throw in a couple now and then.
